I play the 1.3.6 version at pwclassic.net It's just like the good old days of this game when things were simpler. Only 3 races 6 classes. Leveling is slow and soothing and it takes several months to reach the maximum level, making it all the more satisfying the moment you reach it, unlike in modern version of the game where you can hit 100 in a week. Regardless of the slow leveling, I still did it more than 10 times playing in this server so it definitely isn't the most difficult thing. Just do the nostalgia inducing quests plus some dailies. The strongest gears in the game are rank 8 gears. They are strong but by no means so overpowered that it severely outclasses the more free to play gears you can acquire. Rank 8 also only needs reputation and no item mall stuff so you can just get there by doing quests and dailies. Speaking of dailies, there are not too many of them, usually you can complete them in less than an hour every day, especially as level 100 character (there are fewer necessarily dailies as level 100+ since you don't need experience as much). After completing them, you are free to do whatever you want, be it farming in dungeons, digging materials on the ground, or just doing PVP against other players. The administration has made a commitment to stick at version 1.3.6 of the game so if you really hate the things they add in future incarnations of the game, this is the server for you. Granted the administration still does updates to improve the user interface/quality of life of the game or add some new mounts and fashion items or some holiday events, but never something as major as moving towards 1.4.1 or beyond/adding new broken classes that will severely batter the older ones.

Obviously it will never move past 1.3.6 version of the game, but that's what the player base prefers anyways.
